Just within a few more days, it will be Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year is a celebration in which I looked forward the most. Just thinking back of the previously celebrated Chinese New Year, it brought such wonderful memories back the time spent with my family and relatives. CNY is a once in a year celebration,  so my parents and relatives will always cooked up a storm and served it hot during dinner almost everyday. On the menu itself, we had Baked Honey Chicken, Baby Abalone with Broccoli, etc.

On the other hand, I had also received many Ang Paos from my relatives with huge amount of cash in it! Well, not just Ang Paos and foods I am talking about, the main excitement that made me looked towards every CNY is the delicious cookies. These delicious cookies are bought by my relatives either from overseas or locally and they usually give it to us as a gift. Well, those cookies are really mouth - watering, just judging from the appearance of the cookies can simply attracts the people surrounding it of having the temptation to consume it as much as they will ever have. In addition, the taste of the legendary cookies are really unforgettable and you may want to have at least a few serving before you push yourself to a stop. During that point of time , I just could not stop the temptation of consuming those cookies even when I am traveling outdoor :D. However, a price must be paid for eating such unhealthy snacks continuously. Soon I got sore throat shortly after the third day of the CNY celebration.

A sore throat is the worst thing I can ever imagine it to happen during this point of time. During CNY, my speech ability is utmost importance for me . If I am to be able to talk, a sweet speech ability during the celebration allows me to be able to convince people to give more cash than it would originally would have. It was due to the compliment I told them for being such a wonderful uncles or aunties and in fact, it is a fact but not just some piffle. My uncles and aunties had been taking care of me for a such long time, so I would always express my gratitude to them. Things happened unexpectedly , I did not even expect them to give me one more packet of Ang Pao!
