It had been such a meaningful day yesterday. That day, I had just got back both my E.Maths and A.Maths test results with a distinction. It was the first time that I have seen the results of my own hard work! Through the years, there are times that I felt depressed about my own capabilities in terms of education. During my secondary three days, when I had test for the week itself, it does not matter how much hard work I place in it to achieve better results, I just would not get anything above a grade of A2. The main problem that lies in my maths is that I am careless about the things I wrote to solve the equation. Sometimes, a simple mistake like missing out a constant, or a power, this carelessness made me lost an average of 30% of my marks for the entire paper. Well, maybe it was due to the lack of practice that caused my downfall, but the distinction made me found my motivation to do more practice questions and study even harder!
It may seem insignificant to many people who had constantly score distinction for their subjects, but it is a kick start for me to step on the starting line(today) and work very hard for the race(school) and reach my finish line(o level) with a point of <15.
These distinction is not hard to get actually, all I need is just simply placing the extra effort and hard work into achieving such results, while constantly revising all my test question to perform even better.
Now my common test is approaching, this will be the first stop in placing my resolve to a test, my goal is to bring back distinction for both my maths as the minimum.Kampateh!
