Last Tuesday, I had went to Singapore Polytechnic for a conference about Media Communication.

That day, the crowd was huge! There were a few famous schools who attended the conference as well.

On that day, my schoolmates were totally pathetic. Some of my classmates had totally no respect for the speaker.
Some of them played their Iphone games, listening to music through the earpiece, or having a conversation while the speaker was speaking.

Well, luckily, no one had scolded us publicly.

Besides that, the presentation was really interesting. As they touch on issues about social networking sites such as Facebook, and they had also discuss about some reporter website like Omy.com. In addition, they had also touch on a few topic that is related about teenagers of today's modern society who do not know anything about time management.

They presented a statistic about the survey they had did on teenagers on the usage of social networking sites as well as cyberbullying.
They came out with a shocking result that teenagers uses Facebook for an average of 5 hours per day.

The results were unbelievable, as most of my classmates spent more time on their games instead on Facebook. Considering the fact that the time a teenager spend on social networking sites is 5 hours, this shows that there are some teenagers who are likely to be using Facebook for more that 12 hours per day.

About cyberbullying, 99% of the teenagers does not recognizes the definition of cyberbullying clearly. I was one of them as well. :D

Well, at least on that day, I had managed to learn something on such a trend in Singapore as well as solution to prevent cyberbullying. :D

It had been such a long time that I had never gone out with my dad for dinner. Ever since my school had started, being able to spend time with my father for dinner is limited.

Well, it is not due to my O levels, well yes to a certain extend, but the main thing is that my dad is usually busy with his work.

Most of the time, he will usually buy food from the hawker and take it back home for me after his busy day at work.

Well yesterday it is a very rare opportunity that I am able to sit down together with my dad for dinner at IMM mall.

After placing our order, the first item that was served to our table was the drinks that we ordered.

The drinks we had ordered were Ice lemon Tea(right) and Ice lemon Tea Cooler(Left).

Ice lemon tea is a common drink where we order at the hawker or restaurant. However, between these two drinks, the Ice Lemon Tea Cooler is definitely not a common drink.

Firstly, the Ice Lemon Tea Cooler is definitely a drink that is worth trying out.
After drink it, it produced an effects a cooling sensation that will cool your entire body for a moment. The cooling effect is as what the name had mentioned, ice lemon tea cooler.

Besides that , we had also ordered other dishes such as Macau Chicken Chop rice, and Pineapple Rice. As for side dish, we had broccoli with oyster sauce as well as hotplate tofu.(Sorry that I had forgotten to take down the picture of that hotplate tofu.)

I also managed to talk about mutual interest with each other. In addition, we had also discussed about my school as well as his work. It was truly a great day indeed!

In the near future, I really hope that I will more chances to spend time with my dad for dinner as well.

Hope that you guys who saw this post also had a wonderful time with your family and friends!

Now my O levels are just round the corner, and my teachers are pushing us to the limits to make sure we do well for this year O levels. Therefore, I had been very busy lately due to numerous workshops in school that are compulsory to attend.

Today's workshop was the Chinese essay writing, in which I learned something very useful  that allows me to improve my grades for my composition.
The teacher is really awesome, as it was just the first lesson,  I had already seen an improvement in my writing. Firstly, she uses very bombastic words, idioms and sentences which had greatly helped me in constructing better sentences. In addition, she had also gave us lots of helpful tips that can assist me in writing a good composition.

Sadly, between that teacher and my boss, I would not dare to say that the teacher is better than him, as all of the Royal family members recognizes the boss's ability on writing a even better Chinese composition.

Till today, I had managed to live up to my boss, my parents as well as my expectation for all my subject results. All my test had gotten distinction, and I really wanted to give all my credit to my boss and my parents. Without my boss 'threatening me' about the contract, I think that I would not have gotten such an achievement. As well as if my parent did not support me by my side, I will be totally stress out. Cheers!

By the way, I would like to wish all Royal a Happy Chinese New Year! :D

It had been nearly two months that have past. Time have been flowing past quickly, the anxiousness in me is rising transiently, afraid the day of my O level to arrive.  In order to assure that my O level to score, I really hope to achieve more distinction for every subjects in order to convince myself to perform well for O level.

While trying to cope with both my career as well as my studies at the same time, I started exercising as well. To be able to exercise, I will be able to stay healthy at all times and losing my weight as well. Till today, my life is currently quite manageable.

In terms of my education, ever since the start of school, I had always believe that this year will be a special year for me, not because of the rabbit year, but it was my own instinct who dictated it to me.

Just these two months, I have fulfilled my current objectives of becoming an artiste sign by Royal, as well as scoring many distinctions for  most of my subjects constantly. Being able to score constant distinction, I realized that I am not educationally retarded, instead I can perform well if I am willing push myself even harder. Of course, my main goal for this year is to finish my O levels with distinction for every subjects. If things are still going well like now, then I will like to get all my job done perfectly, securing my distinction for my every exam. In another words, I will like to perform to my best for my O level as well as my career.

It had been such a meaningful day yesterday. That day, I had just got back both my E.Maths and A.Maths test results with a distinction. It was the first time that I have seen the results of my own hard work! Through the years, there are times that I felt depressed about my own capabilities in terms of education. During my secondary three days, when I had test for the week itself,  it does not matter how much hard work I place in it to achieve better results, I just would not get anything above a grade of A2. The main problem that lies in my maths is that I am careless about the things I wrote to solve the equation. Sometimes, a simple mistake like missing out a constant, or a power, this carelessness made me lost an average of 30% of my marks for the entire paper. Well, maybe it was due to the lack of practice that caused my downfall, but the distinction made me found my motivation to do more practice questions and study even harder!

It may seem insignificant to many people who had constantly score distinction for their subjects, but it is a kick start for me to step on the starting line(today) and work very hard for the race(school) and reach my finish line(o level) with a point of <15.

These distinction is not hard to get actually, all I need is just simply placing the extra effort and hard work into achieving such results, while constantly revising all my test question to perform even better.

Now my common test is approaching, this will be the first stop in placing my resolve to a test, my goal is to bring back distinction for both my maths as the minimum.Kampateh!
